This incident occurred shortly after midnight this past Wednesday outside a laboratory in Pasadena, TX. A man was outside the business yelling at a woman and beating on her car window. We don’t know what his motive was, but she was able to get into her car and drive away.
The suspect then got into a car, drove through the business’s electronic gate, and crashed into multiple vehicles in the parking lot.
Another woman witnessed this, grabbed her gun, and confronted the man. She then shot the man in self-defense, who was transported to the hospital, where he died.
The reports state that both women were attacked but were unharmed.
We don’t know if the man knew either woman or if this was just a random attack. But a vehicle would be considered a deadly weapon if used to smash through a gate and hit someone. Luckily, someone was there with a firearm to defend themselves and others. If he was willing to smash through the gate, who knows what his plans were next?
I’m hoping more details come out about what took place. But at this point, the police are calling it a self-defense shooting, and the woman has not been charged.
