The state police corporal charged with fatally shooting a trooper during a training session skipped his court appearance Wednesday. Officials say Corporal Richard Schroeter did not show up to his formal arraignment in Montgomery County and that a bench warrant will likely be issued.
He is facing charges of reckless endangerment.
Officials say Schroeter shot and killed 26-year-old Trooper David Kedra in September while teaching a firearms training class.
