Ridiculous extension of the delay in purchasing firearms. When a delay is created by the so called instant check system, you now have to petition for a review and wait an undetermined amount of time for that review to conclude. The Bill leaves it wide open for delaying the purchase or transfer of any firearm regardless of the Constitutional infringements or due process for one never convicted of a crime.

Description: To amend chapter 44 of title 18, United States Code, to strengthen the background check procedures to be followed before a Federal firearms licensee may transfer a firearm to a person who is not such a licensee.
