DAYTON, Ohio -- The Montgomery County Coroner's Office has identified the man killed during a robbery attempt Wednesday at the Dollar General store.
Dr. Harshbarger, coroner, said Roosevelt Rappley died following the incident at 2228 Gettysburg Ave. in Dayton.
Harshbarger said the cause and manner of the death have not yet been determined. The matter is under investigation by the Dayton Police Department.

DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) -- Dayton Police are investigating after a clerk shot and killed a robber at a local Dollar General.
Officers were called to the scene at 2228 Gettysburg Avenue just before 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Dispatch confirms a man came into the store and demanded money. The clerk told officers he shot the man in self-defense.
The Montgomery County Coroner's Office said they are now working to identify the man.
Dayton Police are continuing to investigate.
Dollar General's corporate office said the store is closed until further notice.
