DEKALB COUNTY, GA (CBS46) - An armed robbery victim shot and killed his attacker Saturday night in DeKalb County, according to police.
DeKalb County police said just before midnight, officers responded to a person shot call at Shell food Mart in the 5000 block of Snapfinger Woods Drive.
Officers arrived and met with the shooter.
The shooter told police he met the gunshot victim and they were to engage in a sex act.
The gunshot victim pulled out a gun and forced the shooter to withdraw money from a local ATM.
They then returned to the Shell Food Mart where the shooter retrieved his firearm and shot the victim/suspect, police said.
The shooter stopped the car in the parking lot of the Shell Food Mart and called police while he remained at the scene.
Police said the shooter is cooperating with the investigation.
Police have not identified either person.
No charges have been filed against the shooter at this time, and the incident is still under investigation.
