Our Constitutional Republic has experienced a bloodless revolution. The will of the people cannot be denied, and the ultimate outcome of the Presidential election very well came down to us; the citizens of Pennsylvania.
As the new administration begins to take shape, we must remember that Joe Biden and/or his handlers are still at the helm in Washington D.C. and will be till January 2025. The Biden regime is NO friend to self-sufficient family first responders that value and exercise the 2nd Amendment and Article 1 Section 21 of the PA Constitution.
We must be cautious and vigilant.
The Senate “Recount” is underway. The Daily Signal states:
“Nearly every news organization has projected that McCormick won the tight race. The current vote tally shows McCormick with 3,380,310 votes, or 48.93% of the total, to Casey’s 3,350,972 votes, or 48.5%. The deadline for the recount is just before Thanksgiving.”
We will see what occurs from the recount.
The balance of power in Harrisburg has remained generally unchanged. The PA House will still be in control of the largely anti-gun Democrats with a slim majority of 102 to 101. The PA Senate will remain in the control of the largely pro-gun Republicans.
The red wave across the country did not seem to wash down the ballot in the Commonwealth. Anti-liberty / anti-gun representatives won in blue and purple districts.
Josh Shapiro is still the Governor… and will be till at least till the 2026 election cycle.
Dave Sunday won the Attorney General race.
Dave was the York County DA. Last year, after consulting with FOAC-Institute legal counsel, DA Sunday warned the York, PA City Council that one of their proposed laws violated state preemption. We are optimistic that he will serve his office while protecting the individual rights and liberties of Pennsylvanians.
Time will tell.
With the federal government in the hands of, what is certainly more likely to be significantly more pro-gun than the alternative, in 2025, we may have a chance to see serous debate about national reciprocity, and reasonable picks for agencies such as the ATF.
Time will tell.
Our Constitutional Republic lives on.
On September 17, 1787, Elizabeth Willing Powel asked Benjamin Franklin, "Well, Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?" He simply responded, “A republic, if you can keep it.”
Well folks… we kept it…. for now anyhow.
Time will tell.

Edmund Burke said, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” While not exactly a popular message in our times, evil exists in our world.
Uvalde, Texas is one of the stages of evil’s latest acts. 18 students and 3 adults were murdered in a grade school by a killer with a gun.
After remembering the precious lives lost, it is our responsibility to discuss how to respond to such events in the future.
After tragedies such as this, people often seek to understand the killer’s motivations, their mental health, their domestic circumstances, and ultimately, what led them to commit such a heinous crime. It is true that this information can help to shed some light. But it can end up distracting us from the baseline problem of evil, and the necessity of facing it directly when it confronts us.
Many practical ideas can and should be implemented. Hardening facility security features, supplying Stop-The-Bleed kits in each room, early-detection systems for unauthorized weapons; all of these are important. However, in the conversation of tangible steps to take, we must also acknowledge that evil exists. Then, we must determine to confront and vanquish it.
A separate incident this week stands in stark contrast to the tragic events in Uvalde.
A woman in West Virginia came face to face with a would-be killer, and she chose to act. While she was attending a birthday party, an angry man came with a rifle and began firing indiscriminately into the crowd.
This ordinary woman retrieved her concealed firearm and stopped this threat immediately.
To my knowledge, she is not a police officer. She is not a veteran. She is not a professional shooter. She is a courageous woman who quietly prepared herself to confront violent acts by equipping herself with the most efficient tool for that job: a firearm.
The reason evil did not triumph in West Virginia? A good woman did something when it reared its ugly head.
Once more, evil was thwarted by 3 unarmed women in a school in Nashville, TN. On May 11th, A man forced his way into a school and 3 unarmed women tackled him and held him for 10 minutes until Police arrived to apprehend the intruder. The will to defend is not exclusive to those that choose to be armed.
We won’t hear much of these news story across major media outlets. However, armed AND unarmed civilian first responders regularly stop evil acts. With a little digging, you will find the news stories reported on a near daily basis.
It is time for us to acknowledge and champion the good men and women who use their firearms to protect and preserve life. They choose the most efficient tool for the task when they don their gun everyday.
But more than the tool, people like our heroine from West Virginia and the women in Tennessee possess something even greater: the will to act in the face of evil. The question we each must answer is: what are we prepared to do?
Don’t let your answer be “nothing.”

As we approach the national holiday of Thanksgiving, I will repurpose the ‘Closing Thoughts” from the FOAC-Institute newsletter of 1 year ago.
Many of you will celebrate Thanksgiving with your families this week. Thanksgiving is a time to reflect and give thanks to those in your life. Whether that be your God, your spouse, you children, your co-workers, friends, and family members, let them know you appreciate what they do to help you in your life. Express your thanks and honor them with love and respect.
The pilgrims brought arms with them when they sailed west to the new world. There was no 2nd Amendment then, yet they knew they would need to have the means to protect themselves and feed themselves. The “Saints and Strangers” used matchlocks. Today, matchlocks are not very common. The “gun” technology has changed over the last couple hundred years, but the need to be armed for protection and to harvest food is still the same.

Many of you will go into the woods this week to harvest a deer for food. Be sure to take the time to patronize local business when you are “up in the mountains”. The Saturday opener has made it very hard for the economy of the Northern Tier. Try to do as much business you can when you get to camp and while you are at camp. Honor your harvest but getting a clean shot. Be sure to have all of your orange. Stay warm and let someone know where you are hunting and what time you expect to be home.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, and a bountiful harvest in our Penn’s Woods!
Stay armed and BE well regulated!
Yours Most Respectfully,
Klint Macro
