SANGER, Calif. (FOX26) — Sanger Police say a homeowner caught a burglar in his home, and held him a gunpoint until officers arrived.
And it turns out, that was the accused burglar's second run-in with police in a matter of three hours.
Police first stopped Arthur Perez on Friday around 11:00 a.m.
He was arrested for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
Perez was cited and released from Sanger Police.
Then, around 1:37 p.m., officers were called to a home on the 1500 block of Jensen for a report of a residential burglary.
Officers say the caller was a registered Concealed Carry Permit holder, and had the suspect held at gunpoint.
When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered the accused burglar was Arthur Perez.
Perez was taken into custody-- again-- and later booked into Fresno County Jail on a parole violation.
Perez is facing additional charges related to trespassing and burglary.
